心理健康
Mental health services are available to all Butte College students who are enrolled
in a for-credit class and have paid the student health fee.
服务 are based on a brief treatment model and students may receive 3-5 sessions
每学期. If more sessions are requested and/or required, we will work with you
to make a referral to a provider in your community. 服务由授权方提供

When stressors and/or problems become too diffiuclt for you to handle on your own or with your natural support system, it is time to ask for help. 心理健康 Specialists can help students identify problems and teach and refine coping strategies. Some common problems may include, but are not limited to:

- Difficulty adjusting to changes in your life

If your apppointment needs to be canceled, please cancel within 24 hours of your appointment
time. Not canceling an appointment is considered a "no show". 如果你超过
10 minutes late to your appointment, a "no show" will also be considered and may impact
your ability to obtain future appointments.
All mental health counseling records are kept confidential and are not part of the 学生学习成绩. Clinicians are mandated reporters, and confidentiality 可在法律规定的情况下被破坏. Confidentiality may be broken if client reports information about child abuse, elder or dependent adult abuse, active plans to harm themselves and/or active plans to harm others.
